Nightly Builds

From Performous

Note: While these versions contain new features and/or bug fixes compared to the official releases, they are works-in-progress. Our bleeding edge code is generally quite stable, but sometimes new problems arise. These builds are provided so you can help us find those bugs so that we can squeeze them.

See the support section for info on how to contact us with problems.

Windows testing versions

We have an automated build system that compiles the code straight from git every night. These builds also include binaries for performous-tools (most notably ss_extract). You are warned though - they haven't been tested at all.

Ubuntu PPA

We have a Launchpad PPA where .deb binary packages are being built from git for both i386 and amd64 architectures. You can add the repository to your software sources and install the package by issuing the following command (karmic, lucid and maverick):

   $ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:performous-team/ppa  &&  sudo apt-get update  &&  sudo apt-get install performous

Note: These builds have the optional MIDI drum and webcam support enabled.

Note: New packages for karmic are no longer uploaded. The latest one for it is from 2010-07-17.

Note: The PPA is not updated automatically, but by hand, randomly and rather rarely.

Other systems

Would you like to contribute with packages for other operating systems / distributions? Feel free to add links here. Even better if you have a way of building and uploading the binaries in an automated way periodically.
